Our History
AGRIBOLSA, an international company headquartered in Guatemala, offers flexible packaging solutions with Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP).
Founded in 2015, as the MAP Packaging Division of Rotoprin, with 60 years of experience in manufacturing flexible packaging for the food industry. Advanced high-definition flexographic and rotogravure printing technology is used with precise colors and details. In addition, the latest generation machinery for printing, cutting, and bagging for the manufacture of flexible packaging and laser equipment to help regulate the permeability of the flexible packaging.
Trajectory
- 2015
Founding of AGRIBOLSA, S.A., with a focus on the
manufacture and commercialization of MAP flexible
packaging. Hiring of expert professionals in plastics
and post-harvest. Acquisition of royalties for the
use of patented technology in the United States.
- 2017
Investment in new bagging machines and state-of-
the-art equipment; purchase of new packaging
machines.
- 2022
Acquisition of new manufacturing equipment and
FSSC 22000 certification for food safety and quality
in packaging.
- 2023
Increased production of packaging for well-known
brands in supermarkets in the US and Europe, and
initial sales in South America.
- 2024
Acquisition of new state-of-the-art printing
equipment, increased capacity, and reduced
delivery times.

Who we are
Key Achievements
Innovation and Development (R&D)
Our R&D department drives innovation through continuous research in the post-harvest laboratory, which has analytical equipment to evaluate quality parameters, such as texture analyzers, colorimeters, and gas analyzers, refrigerated rooms, with scales and the different packaging materials are evaluated, for the optimization of modified atmosphere for different products and the development of sustainable solutions.
Environmental Commitment
We have led the implementation of new environmentally friendly materials, promoting sustainability and generating the atmosphere to improve the shelf life of products and reduce food waste.
